Former Voice of Packers, Badgers, Bucks Dies

The former sports play-by-play voice of the Packers, Badgers and the Bucks, Jim Irwin, has died at the age of 77. As a ninth-grader, I interviewed Irwin in front of my Jr. High as part on an assignment for a Careers class. I asked him ten questions about his job as a sportscaster for WTMJ Radio and TV, as well as his play-by-play responsibilities. I greatly appreciated him taking the time to come to my school and answer his questions. I learned much about broadcasting from him. I’m sad to learn of his death.
